Neon Lies: A Thriller of Betrayal, Secrets, and Shadows-S1 E11
Episode 11: The Code That Was Never Meant to Run
Keira’s heartbeat thundered. The encrypted file contained
her name. The Mirror Agent Protocol had erased her identity, rewritten
her past, and yet—she was standing here. Alive. A glitch in the system.
The stranger watched her reaction closely.
"You haven’t figured it out yet, have you?"
Before she could respond, the file force-executed itself,
running a hidden command that had been buried deep inside its code.
Suddenly—Keira’s memories fractured.
Keira was Never the First
A series of images flashed across her vision—faces
she didn’t recognize, places she had never been, codes she had never written.
But one thing was unmistakable.
Every person in the images looked exactly like her.
Not similar. Identical.
Her DNA had been replicated, her consciousness
rewritten, and she was merely the latest version in a cycle of
failed experiments.
But failed in what way?
She looked at the stranger, realization dawning.
"You’re not here to help me, are you?"
The city’s underground was never hunting her.
They were trying to stop her before she remembered.
