The stranger held the device between gloved fingers, the neon light reflecting off its surface. Keira had seen people killed for less.

“I don’t have time for games,” she said.

“That’s unfortunate,” the stranger smirked. “Because this is a game. And you’ve already lost."

A siren screamed in the distance. She had seconds before the city's AI surveillance locked onto them.

The stranger tossed the device in the air, catching it lazily. “Your move.”

Ravi saw her walking towards her.   The moon light draped her like a beautiful muslin gown as she walked slowly towards him. The moonlit night has turned the entire locality into a dreamy sequence. The love of his life is walking towards him. He jumped out of his seat and ran towards her. It is only a few meters now and they shall meet forever. But, suddenly Ravi saw another gleaming object in the bushes adjacent to her. To his horror, Ravi realized that the shining object is a large dagger. A man, wearing a dark mask over his face, jumped out of the bushes clutching the shining dagger in his hand.
