The alley glowed with neon blues and violent pinks, the kind of light that made shadows feel alive. Keira adjusted her gloves—heatproof, static-resistant—perfect for an undercover operative who was about to steal something she wasn’t meant to see.

Her target: a message hidden inside a glowing device smuggled through the city’s underground network. The encrypted data was rumored to be worth millions, enough to topple governments. Enough to make her disappear.

Except someone got there first.

A shadow moved in front of her, slow but deliberate.

“Looking for this?” A voice—smooth, confident, dangerous.

Keira’s fingers tightened into fists. That wasn't part of the plan.

Ravi saw her walking towards her.   The moon light draped her like a beautiful muslin gown as she walked slowly towards him. The moonlit night has turned the entire locality into a dreamy sequence. The love of his life is walking towards him. He jumped out of his seat and ran towards her. It is only a few meters now and they shall meet forever. But, suddenly Ravi saw another gleaming object in the bushes adjacent to her. To his horror, Ravi realized that the shining object is a large dagger. A man, wearing a dark mask over his face, jumped out of the bushes clutching the shining dagger in his hand.
